Student Ambassadors

Leading the Student Voice

Are you passionate about dance, leadership, and building community? As an ACDA Student Ambassador, you will help shape the student experience within the American College Dance Association. You will serve as a leader and advocate for your peers, share ACDA opportunities, and give feedback that helps strengthen the organization. Along the way, you will connect with dance students from across the country and build real leadership, communication, and professional skills.

Whether this is your first year participating in ACDA programs or you are already active within ACDA, becoming a Student Ambassador is a great way to grow your network, build your résumé, and help shape ACDA’s future.

Maximum 2 Student Ambassadors per school.

What You Will Do
Throughout the year, Student Ambassadors will:

  • Learn about ACDA programs, initiatives, and leadership opportunities.
  • Build community among dance students across the country.
  • Increase student involvement in ACDA programs and initiatives.
  • Represent and amplify the student voice within the organization.
  • Share ACDA news, opportunities, and resources with your campus community.
  • Develop leadership and professional skills that extend beyond the classroom.
  • Provide valuable feedback to help shape future ACDA programs and initiatives.

Expectations
Student Ambassadors are expected to:

  • Attend all three virtual Student Ambassador meetings.
  • Participate in at least one ACDA virtual program during the year.
  • Self report meeting and program attendance.
  • Subscribe to the ACDA Newsletter.
  • Follow ACDA on social media.
  • Share ACDA programs, events, and opportunities with fellow students.
  • If attending an ACDA conference, attend the ACDA Membership Meeting and help foster an engaging, welcoming environment for student participants.

  • Meeting #1: November 6, 2026 | 1:00–2:00 PM ET | 12:00–1:00 PM CT | 11:00 AM–12:00 PM MT | 10:00–11:00 AM PT | 9:00–10:00 AM AKT | 8:00–9:00 AM HT
  • Meeting #2: January 22, 2027 | 1:00–2:00 PM ET | 12:00–1:00 PM CT | 11:00 AM–12:00 PM MT | 10:00–11:00 AM PT | 9:00–10:00 AM AKT | 8:00–9:00 AM HT
  • Meeting #3: April 2, 2027 | 1:00–2:00 PM ET | 12:00–1:00 PM CT | 11:00 AM–12:00 PM MT | 10:00–11:00 AM PT | 9:00–10:00 AM AKT | 7:00–8:00 AM HT
