Student Ambassadors

The ACDA Student Ambassador program supports student leadership, agency, and connection across ACDA member institutions throughout the academic year. This is a meaningful opportunity for students to grow as leaders, build regional and national connections, and actively shape the ACDA experience.

How to Get Involved

Each ACDA member institution is encouraged to select one Student Ambassador and one alternate using the link below. Student Ambassadors will participate in virtual meetings to build community and engage with peers at other institutions.

Faculty Representatives:

  • Determine how your institution will select its Student Ambassador(s).
  • Submit one primary and one alternate Student Ambassador using the link provided. (Both students may attend all meetings and student events)
  • Faculty Reps do not need to attend any meetings or events. Once the students are identified, the Student Ambassador Coordinator (ACDA Board Member) will communicate directly with Student Ambassadors.
  • Encourage Student Ambassador participation in ACDA Programs.

Student Ambassadors – What to Expect:

  • Collaborate with other Student Ambassadors to plan and implement engagement activities.
  • Attend virtual monthly meetings with other Student Ambassadors in your region.
  • Serve as a liaison between students at your institution and others in your region.
  • Help elect student leaders for your region, including a Secretary and Spokesperson(s).
  • Student Ambassadors are encouraged to attend ACDA Membership meetings throughout the year, virtually and/or at regional conferences.
  • Attend the National Student Ambassador Meeting – More Details Coming Soon!

Next Steps: An ACDA Board Member will contact all registered Student Ambassadors to schedule a kickoff virtual meeting (faculty do not need to attend). At that meeting, students will be introduced, and learn about the program.

Please choose a student who can commit to these responsibilities.
