ACDA Production 101: Production Forms Led by Michael Jarett

This webinar will show participants how to prepare the necessary technical documents and information for ACDA Adjudication. Topics covered include reading the magic sheet, filling out tracking and production info sheets, and what to expect onsite during your adjudication tech rehearsal.
Led by Michael Jarett
Michael Jarett is an associate professor and design specialist for the Department of Dance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He joined the UNLV faculty in 2018 and teaches primarily in the Dance Production and Management program. Previously he was the lighting designer/dance technical director for the Department of Dance and Choreography at Virginia Commonwealth University for nine years. Jarett received his MFA in theater design from Brandeis University and BA in theater from the University of Richmond. He has been the Conference Coordinator for one ACDA conference, Production/Lighting Director for seven ACDA regional conferences, and has recreated five of his lighting designs for the National College Dance Festival. His designs have been seen across the United States and internationally in Bulgaria, Canada, and Scotland. Jarett’s design work has been recognized with 4 Richmond Theater Community Circle (RTCC) Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Lighting Design and the UNLV College of Fine Arts Charles Vanda Award for Excellence in the Arts.
