About the Workshop:

Ana offers her perspective as a film maker on the idea of ‘decolonization’ as a necessary aspect of the paradigm shift towards digitality and how it affects dance on screen processes. Sanchez Colberg proposes that ‘decolonization’ goes beyond content engagement and must include ways to shape and determine methodologies, technologies and resources necessary to be political participants in the digital realm. We will explore strategies and approaches that may open up a wider consideration of the concept in relation to dance on screen making.
